How Much Does a Life Coach Cost in the UK? A 2026 Pricing Guide
If you're looking at coaching, one of the first questions is usually a very practical one: how much is this actually going to cost?
The awkward thing is that coaching prices in the UK, Europe and beyond, vary enormously. You can find coaches charging less than £100 a session, while experienced executive coaches may charge several hundred pounds an hour or work through packages costing thousands.
So rather than pretending there's one standard price, I'll show you what I charge, what you get for it, and what I'd look at if you're comparing one coach with another.
How much does coaching with me cost?
Three Months — £1,500
Six 60-minute sessions, fortnightly.
Enough time to properly work on something rather than having one good conversation and hoping it sticks.
Six Months — £2,800
Twelve 60-minute sessions, fortnightly.
This is the option most people choose. It gives us enough time to work on what brought you to coaching and usually discover some of the things underneath it too.
The Year — £5,400
Twenty-four 60-minute sessions, fortnightly.
For work that isn't really about solving one problem. It's about changing how you make decisions, lead, respond and operate over time.
The Defining Moment Intensive™ — from £750
For a specific upcoming high-stakes moment — a board presentation, investor pitch, keynote, career-defining interview, or leadership transition.
The Intensive — £750 (single session, 90 minutes) Includes a personalised preparation strategy, regulation and confidence tools, and email support in the 48 hours before your moment.
The Executive Intensive — £1,400 (two sessions, 60 + 60 minutes) Session 1 maps your pressure points and builds the strategy. Session 2 is an executive simulation — you rehearse under real pressure, refine, and arrive having already done it once. Strictly limited availability.
Best for: anyone with something important coming up in the next 30 days.

How much does a life coach cost in the UK?
There isn't a standard UK rate for life coaching.
You'll find coaches selling individual sessions as well as three, six and twelve-month programmes. Price tends to change with the coach's experience, who they work with, how much support happens between sessions and whether you're buying individual coaching or work funded by an organisation.
I wouldn't choose a coach based on the hourly number alone.
I'd want to know:
Who am I actually working with?
How often will we meet?
What support exists between sessions?
Is there a fixed curriculum or is the work built around me?
And what happens if I realise after three months that I want to continue?
Those questions tell you much more about what you're buying than the session price on its own.

Both exist. I work through programmes because most of the work I do needs more than one conversation. My programmes are priced as a complete engagement, with sessions and support between them included.

My programmes aren't sold as individual hourly sessions. Three months costs £1,500 for six sessions, six months costs £2,800 for twelve, and a year costs £5,400 for twenty-four. Additional sessions for existing clients are £250.

If you're working with me privately as a leader, the same three, six and twelve-month programmes apply. You're not charged more because your job title changed. For organisations commissioning coaching across a business, I scope the work separately.

Yes. The discovery call is free. We'll talk about what you're working on and I'll tell you which option I think fits — including if I don't think you need coaching at all.
What You're Really Paying For
Coaching isn’t just the hour we spend on Zoom.
Every programme includes preparation before our sessions, personalised resources where they’re useful, and support between sessions. You work with me directly throughout — not an associate or junior coach.
Three and six-month clients have email support between sessions. The Year also includes WhatsApp support throughout.
The point isn’t to give you more contact for the sake of it. It’s to make sure the work doesn’t disappear the moment the call ends.
